New Patriotic Party Rising Stronger: A Call To Regain Power Together

Image
Dear beloved NPP family, In every political journey, there comes a time when we are called to pause, reflect, and reignite our purpose. Today, I write to you not just as a member of the New Patriotic Party, but as your humble servant—Hon. Dr. Alhaji Abdallah Otito Achuliwor, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Navrongo Central—to speak from the heart. Yes, we’ve experienced a setback. But setbacks are not defeats—they are setups for comebacks. Our party has led Ghana through seasons of incredible transformation. From bold economic reforms to education, healthcare, digital advancement, and infrastructure, the NPP has proven time and again that we are a party of vision, of action, and of results. We have always believed in building a stronger, fairer, and more prosperous Ghana for all. Now is the time to reconnect with our base, especially here in Navrongo Central. We must return to the people—not just with words, but with humility, service, and sincerity. It is in the voices of our yo...

Ghana Beye yie with E-Bawumia

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡Ghana Beye YieπŸ‡¬πŸ‡ Ghana, land of the brave and the gateway to Africa. A Land endowed with abundant natural resources yet Past Leadership have failed to utilize or protect their proceeds for development. Leadership has always been the problem of Ghana coupled with our inability to monitor and reward or punish people in power for their actions being good or bad to National development. Ghana's problem is "who watches the watchman? " The world 🌎 is moving so fast and this call for a change in the way things are done. Thank God Ghana has been blessed with a Vice President in the person of Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who has vision and working hard towards placing Ghana onto the Digital world which we've longed to be. Anytime Auditors report comes, there's misappropriation of funds. Why wait for such things to happen before dragging such people to court? It's sad 😒 to hear a Manager of Government institution has blown off cash whilst we can't prevent it...

WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO BE DR. MAHAMUDU BAWUMIA? The NPP is faced with a fateful choice. As a result, there is a better road that inspires us to break the 8 and another one that takes us to an unhappy exit from the government. To clinch the ultimate, we need a new leader with a clear and less burdensome strategy. The history of our party is dependent on the right individual turning up at the right moment. DMB exudes the aura of a "person of destiny." We require a leader who fits within our current political dynamics and can lead the party to victory in multiple general elections in the future. That being said, I would want to highlight a few reasons why I believe DMB is an excellent choice for the important tasks ahead. Justification of Inclusion Our party's success narrative cannot be written without the name DMB emblazoned in gold. He has shown a stronger degree of dedication to the party since H.E Nana Akufo Addo and the party deemed him worthy to partner with him. He h...

Musah Superior writes:  The new UK Prime Minister, Liz Truss who was appointed earlier this morning by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll has been busy after delivering her first public speech at Dawning Street at lunch time. As l write, Prime Minister Liz has already appointed 11 Secretaries of State. She is currently in 10 Downing Street with her top advisors consulting and naming members of her cabinet. By tomorrow, she would have appointed a significant number of her cabinet. The 3 top jobs (Chancellor of the Exchequer, Foreign Secretary and Home Secretary have been handed out and; the new Secretaries have formally started work tonight. I just love the speed, urgency and determination here; something Africa should and must emulate.

Iddrisu Musah Superior a High Npp ranking member and Deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission, Tells Mps to spell out their mandate and core duties to constituents.

Image
Musah Superior writes.... It does appear that our MPs are in trouble! People are justifiably demanding various forms of development in their communities. They insist that their Members of Parliament must provide resources/funding for both infrastructural and social developments. They say, they were told by the PCs now MPs that, when they get elected, they will "bring massive" DEVELOPMENT to the communities.  Our MPs are castigated, insulted, booed; and in some instances chased out of some communities.  Recently, the Majority Leader, Kyei Mensah Bonsu was molested, humiliated for what his constituents say was his "inability to fix" the bad roads in his constituents.  Thousands of citizens have the wrong impression that their MPs can do "everything". They insist the MPs should find them employment, pay their fees, pay their medical bills, build houses for them, pay rent, etc. This is completely unachievable! The MPs cannot meet these demands. Infact they do ...

He stated that human resources (employees) are very important to achieving an organisation’s objective and vision. The safety of FC staff is important to HR and the Department adheres to the Labour Act, 2003 (Act No. 651). Stop this ethnocentric bunks. It's dangerous Musah Superior to the NPP

Image
*Musah Superior writesπŸ–Š️πŸ–Š️πŸ–Š️…*  When l contested for the position of GS in the recent NPP National elections, the “Dombos” from the Greater Northern Region (N/R, UWR, N/E, UER, S/R) voted against me. They “Dombos” voted for our current GS (JFK). They gave him their mandate because they believed he could do the job better than me and the rest of the GS aspirants. They accepted his vision, believed in his competence and voted for him hugely.  In the Northern Region specifically, where l come from, the combined votes of JFK and JB stood at 274. I got 35 votes. I accepted the decision of my “brothers and sisters” in good faith. They exercised their right to choose without any ethnic consideration or bias. It was proper and right. This is how democracy works. Electors in any contest should choose people base on their competencies and not where they come from or who they are associated with. That should be the case in the debate leading to the election of our Party’s 2024 flagbea...

Press Release by Musah Superior hits hard on Hopeson Adorye Director of Operations for Allan Cash

Image
Press Release  14th August, 2022  *Hopeson Adorye's understanding of the NPP tradition is poor.*  I have watched an extract of a speech delivered by Hopeson Adorye in which he made very divisive and ethnocentric comments; labelling Northerners unfit to occupy the number one job of our country. My understanding is that, Hopeson Adorye is the Director of Operations for the campaign team of Hon. Alan K Kyeremanteng, the Minister for Trade and Industry; and he spoke in that capacity.  My initial reaction was one of horror and pain as a person of Northern extraction in Ghana. Hopeson says that we northerners, (the Dombos) are unfit to aspire to the high office of President of the Republic of Ghana.  Never mind that, a circular was issued  only last week by the General Secretary of the Party condemning such political activities meant to canvass support for Presidential aspirants, Mr Adorye and his group arrogantly disregarded the code of conduct issued by t...

There's hope for NPP. Musah Superior Npp General Secretary hopeful assured Party faithful and the grassroots.

It is not for nothing that all levels of the NPP are disgruntled about the management of the Party.  The increasing apathy is said to be springing from poor administration of the Party, which is as a result of the wide gap between the Party Headquarters and ordinary members. This deficiency obviously resulted to;  1. The closer to 500,000 votes we lost between 2016 and 2020  2. The over 30 seats we lost in Parliament after the 2020 election  Unfortunately, in the build-up to election 2024, we are even having a more unprecedented distrust among the hierarchy of the Party.  If we could lose closer to 50% of electorates from 2016 to 2020, and over 30 seats in Parliament over the same period, we should be very worried about the next general election.  What can be the outcome of election 2024? Are we going to perform worse, or we will do better? What will be the faith of the Party in the next years with the predominant increasing dissatisfaction among us?  ...

Musah Superior NPP General Secretary Hopeful and Deputy CEO of Forestry Commission instills hope in Constituency Executives and the Grassroot

Image
We must devise a policy to support the grassroots and constituency executives of our party - NPP National Executives advised The national executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party have been advised to improvise appropriate plans and decisions to subsidize the constituency executives and the grassroots of the party who always toil to ensure the success of the party in elections and other activities within the party. Speaking in an interview with Mr. Musah Superior, the Aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic party who is currently the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Forestry Commission, He stated that the strength of every political party depends on the grassroots and the executives within the constituencies hence the need for the NPP to develop plans to secure brighter future for their grassroots and constituency executives.  He stressed that there should be laid down procedures to ensure that the grassroots are furnished with jobs and other lucrative businesses to motivat...

Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye MP Effiduase Asokore Constituency Educates Speaker of Parliament and Ghanaians.

Image
Dr Nana Ayew Afriye writes….. POLITICAL SPEAKER NOT ABOVE PARLIAMENTARY PRACTICE Mr. Speaker it is shameful for you to attack the president & judiciary based on emotions and without  recourse to extensive research on parliamentary practices elsewhere. Ghana is a member of the CPA( Commonwealth Parliamentary Association). However,  all over the commonwealth of which Ghana is a member, I came across a very interesting trend. In this write up I chose a few examples base on  continental/ regional location. In; 1. Australia, the speaker is an MP and has a casting vote section 44 Australian constitution saves it,  2. Also, South africa has a speaker who is an MP with a casting vote SA constitution  41 3. Nigeria has speaker MP and with a  casting vote.Nigeria constitution  75 A(i)  4. UK speaker Addington explained  why speaker's should have a vote especially where there is a tie in 1796. John Bercow used casting vote to block brexit...Af...

Musah Superior Bites Hard On The Current NPP's Administration

Image
Musah Superior writes: An administration marked by litany of avoidable errors leading to the NPP’s abysmal performance in the 2020 elections; which eventually resulted in a hung parliament and has made our government “hang on a string” must be made to stand down.  Losing 32 seats to NDC and the huge reduction in the popular votes from nearly 1 million in 2016 to a little over 500, 000 in 2020 was the LAST STRAW. We need fresh minds, innovative ideas, new energy, credible and assertive leadership and a pointful narrative that can reconnect the Party to the base, re-recruit our dedicated volunteers and remobilise our members to own and work for the Party to deliver the 2024 project. As the General Secretary, l will automatically assume the role of a general servant in the renaissance of our Party. It is only this new awakening that can produce an honest road map for victory 2024.  Change is vital. Change helps. Be strong, bold and courageous to say no to any attempt to exp...

Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye MP for the good People of the Effiduase Asokore Constituency Hits Hard On Coup Statement made by Berka-Vemawor

Image
Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye Writes: Hunger strike who cares!!! Pitch your bible to it & complete the process...sum your efforts with Psalm 23. But listen to me my brother. Your Coup comment was a complete populist nonsense from a desperate political neophyte wanting to garner cheap popularity!!!!  Lessons to you from AFAG: We formed AFAG & infact tormented the( your) NDC regime over a hot 8 years. The BNI( now NIB) & the national Security apparatus hunted us. One day prior our AFAG  leaders meeting we all  had our  cars broken into & our laptops on were taken...what a fantastic mission accomplished πŸ˜„..mine was a partπŸ€”!! Regardless, we kept using hot words & gathered huge support on our demonstrations....BUT, one thing we urged members on any day was not to make inflammatory statements or rant over issues that compromises the security of the state...this political neophyte is in a mess. He needs guidance & must be measured in his quest 4 popul...

Musah Superior On E-Levy

Image
Musah Superior writes ✍🏽 Citizens worldwide do not want to be taxed. Likewise, governments do not always want to introduce new taxes but it happens in every government. It is a necessary evil. The E-levy is not different.  The E-levy is being introduced to expand the tax base so that domestic tax mobilization will be increased. This will help reduce our dependence on external support in terms of loans, etc. Every dime acrued from the e-levy goes back to the public in terms of infrastructural and social development. The NDC is exploiting the situation for political expediency. They introduced numerous taxes when they were in government. They are so desperate to the extent that they have ignored strong and pointful arguments put forward by experts including their own Seth Tekper to support the e-levy. LET’S SUPPORT THE E-LEVY. The NDC position on it is pure propaganda! Senior NDC officials have contradicted themselves when asked whether or not they will abolish it when they re...

NPP Regional, Constituency delegates conferences are one off yearly events. To argue that these events serve as a platform to get in touch with the grassroots in the constituencies is a deliberate attempt to cover up the neglect of the party in the country side. It is sad! The Peoples’ Campaign seeks to make our Party stronger via the bottom to top management strategy. We are going for better wins; and increased growth! Otaniiba DC

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia writes I presented 150 vehicles to a number of Senior High Schools in the continued fulfilment of a pledge by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to provide the necessary logistics to ensure access to quality education for Ghana’s youth. Made up of 100 buses and 50 pickup trucks, this latest provision of vehicles form part of a broader, ongoing effort by government, through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and other stakeholders, to not only increase access to education for every Ghanaian child, but also provide the necessary infrastructure and logistics to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning. I underscored the importance of an efficient transportation system in the education sector, particularly in light of the flagship Free Senior High School programme, and pledged Government’s commitment to doing even more.
