The Human Resource Department (HR) of the Forestry Commission (FC) has organized a fire safety awareness programme to educate staff on how to act safely by reducing the risk of injury or loss of life in the event of a blaze.
Mr. Mitchell Attipoe, Corporate HR Manager, delivering the purpose of the programme, expressed his gratitude to staff present and the Deputy Chief Executive, Mr. Musah Iddrissu for taking time off his busy schedule to attend the programme. He stated that human resources (employees) are very important to achieving an organisation’s objective and vision. The safety of FC staff is important to HR and the Department adheres to the Labour Act, 2003 (Act No. 651). He also introduced officials from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) present to take staff through the session.
